On Thursday, May 25, 2017 the NIH Science Of Behavior Change (SOBC) Resource and Coordinating Center hosted a pre-conference workshop at the Association for Psychological Science (APS) 29th Annual Convention in Boston, MA.

The SOBC uses an experimental medicine approach to elucidate how behavior change works, and funders across the NIH are moving to require the use of the experimental medicine approach for mechanistic research. In this workshop, attendees learned about the SOBC and how to engage with the experimental medicine method in a hands-on way by drafting their own Specific Aims pages.
